Label It The Mitten! and a Freebie!

· · ·
If you love the Jan Brett book, The Mitten, then this is your lucky day!
KPM Doodles has done it again and created EXACTLY what I needed!!
You are going to love her clip art and this pack of Labeling pages I created! Included are 13 color labeling mats and then 13 B&W pages (are the same as the color, just in B&W), color direction page for stations, and two bonus thinking maps (one bubble and the other a double bubble map).
Teachers Notebook
Mats are great to use in a writing station…just print, place in a plastic sleeve, and allow the kids to use a dry erase marker to label the pictures, using the provided word box. If you prefer, you can always print them out to use as individual work pages.
And here is a freebie from the pack- a bubble map to use when you read the book to describe your perfect mitten!  Click the Picture or here to get your copy!
Hope you love it!
By the way, today was my first day back with kids..and other than getting mixed up and taking one of my students up to be a car rider when she was supposed to get on the bus (…and then having to call her mom to come get her),  I’d say it was a pretty good day…considering! lol

And if you haven’t already, please consider adding me as a favorite shop of yours at:

Thanks!!!

  2. Love the mitten unit! I haven't downloaded it yet, but I did download the graphic organizer. I working on a mitten unit and this will be a great addition to it. Thanks for sharing. I'm a first grade newbie. I have been following many of the blogs in the giveaway for the last three months and I continue to discover even more of your blogs each day…2 more before I saw your giveaway. I have become obsessed. I would love to win this giveaway. It would help me so much as I venture more into teaching first graders. Thanks to all of you for creating and sharing your ideas and for re-energizing me. My kids love it and get excited each week as they get new things to play and create!
