Test Security and Snow Week Photo Dump

·
Something random I took pictures of a while back to share.  Instead of buying “privacy shields”, I make my own “test security” each school year.  I let the kids decorate their own and since they are made out of old file folders, the fold in together and fit perfectly into their desks.   I just staple the two folders together, overlapping the middle.
Some of the drawings crack me up…especially the ones that are supposed to be me!
I took these pictures during a Spelling Test

Ok, so I cannot believe we were out of school for 4 days last week!  CRAZY!  We missed our Valentine’s Day Party and everything!  I didn’t even get to wear my new Valentine shirt =(
I do plan to have our party and wear my shirt next week though!!
Here are some pictures I took of the snow =)

And the only picture I got of the kids enjoying the snow (from the window!!)
In other news, we did get to spend Valentine’s Day taking the kids to see the new Legos Movie…which was TERRIFIC, by the way!
I hope you have all had a great Valentine’s Day and I look forward to sharing some GREAT math freebies with you tomorrow!!  Watch for the post!

  1. I love how you used the file folders! I have been trying to come up with a way for my kinders to hide their work during dictation. I may have to steal your idea if I can come up with enough file folders. 🙂 Beautiful snow pictures!

  2. What a great idea for the file folders! I have some left over ones from Saxon Math (2 math series ago!) but they are on their last legs, and I can't afford to buy new expensive ones. I will definitely use this idea! Lovely snow pictures! Everyone should get to enjoy it sometimes (although in Ohio, we are ready to see some grass again!) Enjoy your week!

  3. Thanks for sharing! I was debating about purchasing the privacy folders from Really Good Stuff, but as much as I love their stuff it is so expensive! Great idea!!
