Banger TWO! Second Set Finished! And a Voc. Freebie!!

I finished my Banger Two Set…if you need your students to practice phrasing, then this is a simple and functional set for you! All you have to do is print them out on Avery Labels…stick them on large craft sticks…place in center and voila! You are done! The first Banger set is listed along with this newest set- each have 150 of Fry Phrases.

Oh, and I worked out a new version of an old vocabulary page we used to use. On it, you have the kids list the vocabulary word and then draw a picture in each box of what it is and what it is not….and then use the word in a sentence. Hope you can use it!! (click on the picture to snag it!)
I typed up the first 600 Fry Phrases and printed them out on yellow cardstock (yellow is good for recall according to brain research),cut them out and laminated, then cut them out again. I divided the phrases into sets of 100 and put them in "Go" cups (from Oreos, Cheese Ritz, Teddy Grahams…you know those small plastic $1.00 cups they have at Wal*mart?). I am going to use the first 300 with my below level readers and the next 300 with my students reading just at or slightly below level (2.0 to 2.3) since I teach second grade. I hope this will help them to become more fluent as well. Thanks for your idea. I just wanted to let you know that the cardstock was a little cheaper (today's economy, ya know?). . . hopefully it will hold up with my second graders. 😉
Thanks again for your lovely idea! I love it and with paper and copier ink at a premium in my school, it's marvelous to have quick and easy to make games!
