Vegas, Vegas, and More Vegas!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun I had in Las Vegas!  I finally met my Freebielicious Girls, it was so much fun!  They are all the sweetest, most down-to-earth people EVER!

Between the Freebielicious Booth and meeting so many great teachers and bloggers, shew! I’m tired!
How cute are all the friends I met?
I FINALLY got to meet my teacher crush, Cara Carroll.  She was one of the first people to buy something of mine and she SHARED it on her blog- I remember thinking that I’d died and gone to heaven.  She is beautiful, inside and out.
But of course, the best part had to be presenting at the TpT Conference (and the TpT Happy Hour wasn’t too shabby either!)  I was nervous and excited…probably acted like a total goofball, but it was so much fun and a complete honor.  The other presenters are rockstars in my eyes =)  Actually, all the teachers I met are ROCKSTARS!
If I had a dollar for every comment about my “accent,” I’d be one rich lady…Seriously folks, I am not the one with the accent!  Check us out:
Oh, I almost forgot…I MET Paul Edelman, founder of TpT.  TpT has been so good to me and to finally meet him in person was such an honor!  The Keynote address was great, Deanna Jump spoke and was adorable…Amy Berner Borrell and John Yoo spoke and were lovely.  All in all, it was a great time!
*******
BUT…

I’ll be honest, there were a few hiccups.  Like when I lost our luggage ticket….and the time I poured hot tea on my pancakes instead of syrup…and when I left the bag with my new Swatch on a bench (which I got back thank goodness!) …and when I left a bag of toys for my kids at a restaurant (which was returned to me by our waitress who hunted us down!) …and when I went to text someone using my wallet….Did I mention that presenting had sort of made me a little cuckoo??

My traveling buddy is Angela from The Daily Alphabet, who is TERRIFIC- Follow her!
I’m going to be linking up with A Burst of First!
Well, I got home at about 3am this morning, so I think I will go take a nap!
Before I go, I will leave you with a picture of the funniest girls I know:

  1. I am so jealous (in a good way) of everyone who got to go to Vegas. I'm crossing my fingers for next year. Thanks so much for sharing your presentations – that is so kind! Hope to meet you next year – it would be great to catch up with another Alabama girlie 🙂

  2. Thank you for all the tips! I just opened a store on TPT (after being a buyer for 3-4 years). You had some great info in here even though I wasn't able to go to Vegas. Carol
