Three Little Pigs! Freebie

We had fun with the 3 Little Pigs this week in K!
We read different versions and talked about characters and Beginning Middle, and End.
My Kinders cut up construction paper and glued it onto cardstock houses that I had pre-cut. They had the best time arranging the “bricks, sticks, and straw”!
The idea for the houses came from Life in First Grade! Love her!!

Here is a SIMPLE 3 Pigs Freebie packet…just some things I did with my Kinders during the unit. The graphics are from MelonHeadz…they are too, too cute!!

For the rest of the week, I used Reagan‘s This Little Pig Unit…that’s where the characters came from!

The kids LOVED it, especially when we read the
3 Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig!

  1. I love that you used the visuals for the beginning, middle, end and characters. Great idea! Just found your blog, and have loved reading through your posts!

BTW – I'm hosting a giveaway on my blog…a free, personal laminator! Come check it out if you don't have one already! 🙂

  2. I just love this idea!
I'm also working the 3 little pigs in my room … loved the idea of exposing the little heads with wolf and pig to the drawings. Parabens!
I became fan of your blog!!
