Sight Word Station Freebie
Sight Word Station Freebie:
Sight Word Station Freebie: If you are anything like me, you struggle to teach sight words to students in an engaging and fun way. I used Astrobrights Papers to create “computer monitors” to go with an old keyboard. I love how bright and fun the papers make the monitors look.
My current favorite color papers to use are:
I placed them in a station with a recording page. Kids read the word, type the word, and then write the word.
I just store the keyboard the the cards in a basket in my Word Work Station. The kids *LOVE* typing the words! They can TYPE IT, READ IT, and then WRITE IT!
Hope you have a great weekend! Get the Type It FREEBIE {HERE} or click not he picture below. Looking for other word lists or an editable file? Try here on Teachers Pay Teachers!
So cute! I have done something similar with a printed keyboard but this is even cuter! Thank you!
Love this idea! I totally want to copy it in my classroom next year!
I love this idea. I’ve been meaning to find some old key boards for a word work activity and these cards are perfect to go with it. I love that they are little tents and can just stand up on their own! Thanks for the freebie. <3
This idea is simply awesome and so engaging! Thanks so much for sharing!
