A Good Day (and why I love my job)

I went and ate lunch today with a girl I taught my first year of teaching.  It was Kindergarten and a stressful year to say the least, but they were an *awesome* group of kids.  

Of course I was pink slipped and didn’t get to return to the school….but such is the life of teacher. 

Anyway, my former student is now a student at Georgetown.  I couldn’t be more proud =)
