Ellison AllStar Machine Review and FANTABULOUS Giveaway!

Yes, I know, fantabulous is not a REAL word, but it was the word that came to mind when I was asked to do a review for Ellison Education.  Most of us remember Ellison for their die cutting machines, many schools still use them today (mine does).  But I have to say, what they sent me wasn’t the same machine as the one we have in our faculty lounge!

They sent me an AllStar SuperStar Machine, which was super easy to use, lightweight, and portable!

The best part?  All the die cuts, of course!  Our school’s focus this year is math and I was so lucky to find that Ellison offers so many die cuts perfect to use as math manipulatives.

My kids loved the two sided bean counters!  (Tip: use cheap scrapbook paper that is white on the opposite side…I got mine in the Dollar Spot at Target).

I hope you are as excited as I am about this giveaway!  Thank you Ellison Education for sending me the products to try and offering up a chance for my readers to win this great package!

  1. I would love to win this because my board keeps the die cut machine at the board office which is an hour away! I love the idea the two-sided bean counter too. I love the idea that you can quickly have a set for every child and it doesn't take up a lot of storage. Thank you for the opportunity to have one:)

  2. I didn't realize they made math manipulatives! I've been so use to just having the ones at school I haven't checked to see their newest ones! How awesome! I think the bean counters and dominoes would be awesome to use in my room & school!

    Thank you for this opportunity!

  3. I would LOVE an Ellison machine! We started using the EngageNY math curriculum this year. The math die cuts would be so helpful in preparing Math manipulatives and center activities.

  4. I love the dominoes because I use dominoes in a lot of math activities and it would be great to punch out dominoes for the kiddos to use at home too!

  5. I would love the pattern block shapes. Our school does not have anything like this and it would be a fantastic addition to the primary grade classes. I am so tired of cutting out these silly patterns every summer for my kiddos to use each year.

  6. LOVE all the Ellison products and would love to have some of those dies to make for kids to take home and use with parents or at parent teacher workshops where we can show the parents how to help their children with inexpensive items.

  7. I would love pattern block die cuts. This is the one thing our school is lacking and it would be so helpful and beneficial for our kiddos. Amazing giveaway!!! Thanks!!!

  8. I would love pattern block die cuts. This is the one thing our school is lacking and it would be so helpful and beneficial for our kiddos. Amazing giveaway!!! Thanks!!!

  9. I would LOVE to win the Ellison Allstar die cut machine since my school and board do not have a die cut machine at all. I would LOVE to have the math die cuts like the 2 sided beans and the domino die cuts. these would all make my job a little easier. 🙂

  10. Love, love, love the Ellison machine!!! How great would it be to have the dice cutout, two sided counters and any other math manipulatives?!? Hoping I'll be the lucky winner-

  11. This new machine looks wonderful! I've used our school's older Ellison machine for years. I'd make use of all the diecuts, but the dominoes would be FABULOUS! Thanks for this opportunity!

  12. Wow! I had no idea Ellison made this adorable machine! Our die cut machine is a million years old and the die cuts are so worn out! This would be amazing to have! We are focusing on Math as well and I am in love with all your math die cuts! Those dominoes are adorable! And the bean counters… I can see so many math ideas swirling in my head! Love!!!

  13. Any of them would be great! I'm a first year teacher and the machines in the workroom are constantly in use by volunteers. Plus, much of my work is done into the late hours of the night (yay first year!) at home!

  14. What a great resource to have as a first year teacher! The school I am at does not have a die cut machine. I can only imagine the countless things my colleagues and I could do with this die cut! I love the dominoes, they would be great to use in math!!

  15. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I can't stop jumping around the house and celebrating. I know that the girls at school and I will really appreciate this generous gift. Thank you for all that you do to make teaching so much fun!!
