Chinese New Year is such a fun thing to celebrate and learn about in your classroom! It falls on February 19th this year…so once we finish Valentine’s Day, it will be time to prep for Chinese New Year!

Color patterns for the crafts below (Yes, I’ve been saying I would change them over to B&W…and someday I will!! Promise!!) This pack has been updated and it is so much better now (2023). It includes dates up to 2030 and the fonts are improved. Clipart is also updated and more modern. The pack includes a close read all about Chinese New Year, along with writing activities.

What an amazing fun filled pack! This year my Professional Learning community is all based around "close reading" what it is and how to implement it in our classrooms. This would be a perfect place for us to actually jump in and start! I'd love to try it out!
