Chicken Little
hChicken Little: The Sky is Falling, the Sky is Falling!
Ok, not really…but she thinks it is!
Our reading series uses the story as a read aloud and so last week we made our own Chicken Littles, based on the Chicken Little by Rebecca and Ed Emberley’s version (which I LOVE).The kids loved it, too! The craft turned out to be one of my favorites. It incorporates painting with the paper art.
You can find the pack {here} on TPT
We ran out of time before we could do a lot of the pages from the pack, but we did manage to do some…here are my 2 favorites! I mean, who wouldn’t freak out?
How’s your week so far? Mine is busy as always! This pack should make your life easier. The activities are not only fun, but engaging, too. My first graders loved every minute of the week we did these activities. It’s such a fun story and the different versions make it even more fun. I have an entire series of fairytale book companions in my TpT shop. They are all STEAM related activities, along with language arts.
Love this? You might also like my Little Red Hen pack HERE on my blog!

Well… no chicks in my week, but I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off! 😉 I am totally smitten with your unit! laura.scheunemann@wrps.net
I live on a farm and often tell my kiddos of our daily adventures with cows and chickens. They love feeling like they are a part of my life outside the classroom. Chicken Little would be the perfect way of bringing together real life with fiction. And, what a way to start off spring! Too cute…
