100th Day Activities and Magic Snow Poem FREEBIE
100th Day Activities and Magic Snow Poem FREEBIE: I love the 100th Day. It marks such a special point in the year, you’ve passed the midpoint… between now and the end of the year, the growth is astonishing. It’s so much fun to celebrate in kindergarten especially because the kids have NO idea about what we’ll do for the celebration- it’s such a fun surprise! Over the years I’ve celebrated in so many different ways: balloon releases, necklaces, headbands, candy counting, so many ways to have fun!
His case you can use it, here is a FREEBIE for your 100th Day fun, just click the PREVIEW button {HERE}
Here’s a preview of the rest of my 100th Day Pack pack:
Snow Day
In other news, we created Magic Snow, an idea from Tara West’s {Little Minds At Work} Kinder Literacy for The Snowy Day. You can see her post about how to make the snow {HERE} just scroll down her Facebook page. She said she puts it in the fridge, but I put it on my window sill and it was cold like snow…the kids were so excited to make snowmen, which in Alabama is pretty rare!
I also created a poem to staple to the bags of “snow” that my kids took home at the end of the day once they played with it. You can get the poem FREEBIE {HERE}. No judgements, I wrote it in a hurry and I am certainly NOT a poet! (and I know it!)
I also added my directed drawings for January as a separate pack in case you don’t want the bundle Find it {HERE}. Perfect for MLK Day!
We also created a fun activity using a quick writing prompt from me and an adorable craft idea from Smitten With First {HERE} If you’d like a copy of the writing prompt I created and used below, click HERE
Would you PLEASE share your snowy day writing prompt? I can not find another I like that would work for my kinder kiddos
