The Little White Owl and a Freebie!
The Little White Owl is all about friendship and accepting the differences in people (owls, too!)
We created a chart by describing what good friends do…
The owls below are by some teacher friends of mine…cute, right? I love that they used scrapbook paper and newspaper to create the artwork. One interesting idea would be to take your scrapbook paper and instead of using it all for a project like this, you could copy the decorative paper and I bet it would look almost just like the paper she used below. And you’d still have your original paper to use down the road for another project!

Super cute hanging int he hallway! Thank you Paige and Kelly!
I have seen owls like this on Pinterest before, here is the link I pinned a while back
Then we did some directed drawing of owls and labeled them, Little (insert color word) Owl..not all my kiddos had gotten to this step when I snapped the pics!
If you love owls, check out my Owl Love Pinterest Board!
Thanks, my kiddos could really use some discussions about friendships right now!!

I absolutely love the White Owl and the colors are amazing. Thanks for sharing your fun activities. This time of year it seems like the kiddos act more like brothers and sisters instead of friends, it's time for a break from each other.
Love your owl anchor chart! Super cute. 🙂

O my gosh. Those are all too cute. I'm super impressed with your anchor chart. When I make things in class they never look anything close to that level of cuteness. Super jealous 🙂
