Red-Eyed Tree Frogs! and a Mini-Giveaway!

· ·
Last week we read a great book about Red-Eyed Tree Frogs and so of course we had to make some…and chart our learning!
Our bulletin board, complete with burlap.
We recorded what we learned from the book:
We did a directed drawing, with our journal entry:

This is one of my sweeties, can you believe his mom and I graduated high school together?  Such a small world….and time really does fly =)

In case you want to get the book, here is a link:

It was perfect for my class!

Is there anything you would love to see created?  I have been in a little funk when it comes to creating, so if you have any ideas about what I might work on in the future, leave a comment below.  To make it worth your while, I will choose one person to receive  two packs of their choice from my TPT shop!

  2. I would love to see a quick and fun review of Kindergarten for the beginning of the year for my firsties. The one in our series just doesn't cut it. The red eyed tree frogs are great. There is a Jeff Corwin video when he goes to a rainforest and holds one. My kids love watching it.

  3. I love that book. I read it early in the year. My kids are always fascinated with red-eyed tree frogs and talk about them throughout the year. I love the idea of doing a directed drawing journal entry. Thanks for the idea! Your craft is cute!

  4. We are reviewing base 10, 2d/3d shapes, addition & subtraction for rest of year. Those are the things my kiddos struggled with so we are going back to it. I teach Kindergarten – and for the most part we are really picking it up with the writing/reading. We have 4 more sight words left to learn! 🙂 May finish that up in next week and a half since they are reading more fluently now. May need more fluency as well (phrasing, etc)

  5. I love all of your products! I would love to see some cute crafts to go along with Nursery Rhymes. A whole pack with math and literacy! I would also like a farm unit. 🙂

  6. Worms, snails, bees, and especially a unit on birds. I have been trying to find something to go along with my bird theme and there is a lot on chickens but I would love a unit on backyard birds
