Red-Eyed Tree Frogs! and a Mini-Giveaway!
Last week we read a great book about Red-Eyed Tree Frogs and so of course we had to make some…and chart our learning!

We love you little Red Eyed Tree Frogs with their curly tongues! The craft is cute, but the kiddo's drawings are even better! What a fun way to read that non fiction book!

I would love to see a quick and fun review of Kindergarten for the beginning of the year for my firsties. The one in our series just doesn't cut it. The red eyed tree frogs are great. There is a Jeff Corwin video when he goes to a rainforest and holds one. My kids love watching it.
How about something with owls? Life cycle, pellets? I love owls! :O)
I love that book. I read it early in the year. My kids are always fascinated with red-eyed tree frogs and talk about them throughout the year. I love the idea of doing a directed drawing journal entry. Thanks for the idea! Your craft is cute!

Love the frogs! Would love some daily morning practice sheets. Maybe that have some Math and LA standards in them. Something that would onyl take them about 15-20 minutes while we got settled in for the day!

We are reviewing base 10, 2d/3d shapes, addition & subtraction for rest of year. Those are the things my kiddos struggled with so we are going back to it. I teach Kindergarten – and for the most part we are really picking it up with the writing/reading. We have 4 more sight words left to learn! 🙂 May finish that up in next week and a half since they are reading more fluently now. May need more fluency as well (phrasing, etc)

Worms, snails, bees, and especially a unit on birds. I have been trying to find something to go along with my bird theme and there is a lot on chickens but I would love a unit on backyard birds
