Gingerbread Classroom Activities
Christmas time and so it’s the perfect time for Gingerbread Classroom Activities in Kindergarten and first grade! Actually this craft and activity pack would work for grades above first! Although this isn’t a “new” pack, I have added something new. A smaller, simpler gingerbread boy/girl craft using regular size construction paper. The bows are still painted using a circle sponge brush (linked below). You can find the Gingerbread Activity and Craft pack HERE ON TpT!
In my classroom, we always have fun during Gingerbread Week. The first thing we do is read an assortment of Gingerbread themed books I have collected through the years. On one of those days, we decorate paper gingerbread people. Another day, I give the kids a gingerbread cookie and tell them they can only take ONE BITE (I don’t tell them why). They take the bite and lay the cookie down. Next I give them a small paper gingerbread person and they color it. Next we graph which bite we took first!
