Apple Bandit {FREEBIE}

· ·
Have you heard of the Apple Bandit?
Well, the Apple Bandit made an appearance the Friday before Spring Break,  partly because my kids were wanting to have some fun and partly because I had lost my mind (just a little).  Waiting for spring Break will do that to you!
Creative Teaching Press sent me a box of goodies to review and amongst all the chevron decor and such that I had picked out was this  apple stencil-cut border.  I was thinking about what to do with it and that it reminded me of those (shutter shades) sunglasses from the 80’s.  They also sent me some of their mustache cut-outs and on a whim I put them together.
 Well, as I was playing around with it, my students saw it and immediately wanted one.  They begged.  Before I knew it, I was telling them they were the “Apple Bandit”.  Sometimes it’s OK to just do something FUN…even at SCHOOL!!!
They proudly wore their masks home as we got out for Spring Break.
 I love everything that Creative Teaching Press does, and these borders and cut-outs are no exception. They are adorable in person, even if you use them as a border (the way they’re intended to be used!!)
Now that my break is over, I thought I’d share a little poem and other cute pages I created to go along with the masks.  Please DO NOT judge my poetry…I just wrote it for fun, people!!
