LUCK OF THE IRISH

Today, I’m sharing a colorful St. Paddy’s Day printable that uses three colors by Astrobrights: Cosmic Orange™ , Solar Yellow™ , and Gamma Green™.  This is great fun and perfect for photos that I share in my class {private}  parent group on Facebook.

I used the combination of colors to make these adorable headband hats (with beards).  You can choose to just use the hats if you prefer to not have a beard.

1. First I printed the hat pattern on Gamma Green™ paper and had my kids color the band black and cut it out.

2. Next I printed the buckle onto Solar Yellow™ paper and after cutting it out, they glued the buckle to the hat band.

3. The next part is optional, but I really think it’s cute.  I printed the beard onto Cosmic Orange™ and carefully cut it out.  The  beard length is flexible, easy to cut shorter or longer.   I attached the beard to the bottom of the hat with a stapler.

4.  I used old March themed bulletin board border for the headbands and simply stapled the hat and beard combo to it!  You can get the hat and beard patterns on Google Drive.

5.  After the pieces are assembled, all that’s left is to wear it on March 17th and be sure to take pictures!
